Hi world,

today I am going to tell you about a library. So far in library I have been enjoying library. My favourite genre is spooky and humour. I like a book cooled weirdo it is a very funny book it is a pretty easy read. I like spooky and humour because they make you laugh.

A book that kids might like is a book cooled bad guys. I recommend it  because it will make you have a good laugh.

I am reading two books they are Percy Jackson and the lightning thief. In the book a kid called Percy is a half blood but he doesn’t know it in this book he has to find Zeus’s lighting bolt or a war will start. So far I am enjoying my book chat books.

Hi I am now in 5DF 2020! So far I have enjoyed being in 5DF. I think it’s going to be a fun year. This year we are going to do APS. so far we have done swimming. We are also going to do bike riding and rock climbing. My friends have said great things about rock climbing and bike riding. Next term we get to choose the APS sport by our own. I chose volleyball and net ball.I will tell you what will be happening this year so keep on checking.

This term we have been doing a play.

First we had to write the script we each did one page with a partner.

Second we had to chose what character we were going to play.

Third we had to learn our lines. 

Fourth we had to make a costume. 

Then last we had to perform. 

It was I lot of fun to act with your friends it was also fun to make a costume. 

It was also fun to learn your lines. 

We had to have resilience if we get our lines wrong. 

We had to use. communication to tell each other if they want you do something a bit different.

We have to use courage to perform.

Dear future Year Fours. 

Next year for you you will have a great year with great teachers. These are the things you need. 

1. Put all your effort in your work.

2. You need a lot of resilience for example on camp if you don’t get the people you want in your cabins you have to be resilient.

3. You need curiosity to look in to your school projects.

You should look forward to camp you go to camp Evelyn. You get to go on a 18 metre high flying fox.

You should also look forward to the nativity play.  You get to make a costume and make a script.

Sometimes you laugh in The nativity play when your friends make a mistake but you should laugh with them. I was challenged when we had to learn our lines. I was proud of how much I did not give up even when I was troubled. I always will remember Mrs. Haines saying go around to Hickman building 

 

This term we have being judging CBCA books. What makes a good information book is it being a neat layout and making sure it is attractive and has a lot of detail. My best voting book is  Make Believe by Kate Ryan and M.C. Escher because the visuals were not too big and not too small. The layout was great because it’s easy to read. The information was even better because it’s not too long to read.

In science we had done a experiment I think it all went to plan after a while.

It was a really good experience since I had never done any thing like that. In my group was me and Peter. The science  experiment with testing the strength of different bags. We had a hard time working out what our science experiment was going to be. I had to use the PLA of with Resilience when we couldn’t do our first experiment. What went well was the bags because we could get them in time.

I had felt happy but when I worked out we were only half way, I was devastated.

We had to use all of resilience left inside of us. 

I knew we were going to have fun for the next 2 nights.

We felt a bit of pain in our legs. We were finally on top of the mountain.

Most of my friends did not like it. It was tough going.
